The ANS04-ES is a sample and hold ambient noise microphone used in conjunction with an ASL Audio router. This ensures the output gain is automatically adjusted to be at a predefined level above the ambient, guaranteeing intelligibility of announcements, yet at a comfortable level. The ANS sensor detects ambient noise using its built-in microphone. The signal is weighted with a speech-band response for the best system performance, and is then translated to a value of measured ambient noise in dBA.

The ANS04-ES can be used in a range of settings Operating with background noise levels from 55 to 95 dB(A), the ANS can be used in wide range of challenging acoustic environments.

Designed to operate from -40°C to +50°C, designed to operate in the world’s most harsh and demanding environments. Working reliably in the Norwegian snow to the scorching UAE sunshine.
