The EMS20 is a flexible Emergency Microphone Station (EMS) designed to integrate seamlessly with Zenitel PAVA audio routers. It can be configured for live or store-and-forward broadcasts, as well as for triggering zonal functions such as pre-recorded message playback.
Zone selection is managed either through the physical select buttons or via a rotary selector with an LCD display interface. Each model in the EMS range features a fist microphone with a built-in PTT switch and a graphic LCD display. The number of physical select buttons varies by model, with the EMS20 including 20 buttons as standard. The microphone can be expanded to support up to 50 select buttons with the addition of the optional EMX30 expansion module, which can be easily installed on site.
A VU bar graph displays the microphone signal level, and the built-in automatic gain control (AGC) ensures optimal and consistent audio levels during live broadcasts.
